Cooper

This is our buddy Cooper. Hadley prays for this little guy every night. His newborn pictures were taken the 3 days after he was born and isn't he just perfectly plump. This little guy weighed in at over 9 lbs when he was born.

Cooper has two big brothers who did not come to his photo session so we could focus on just him and I've decided he really looks like Lincoln in this picture. It's so fun to see how siblings look alike.

And I can't forget one of mom and dad with Cooper. Aren't they fabulous for baby BOY number 3!!

In a house full of boys we can't forget one with sports equipment. He is destined to throw balls and play tackle football from the moment he starts to move.

We are so glad to finally get to meet you Cooper. We look forward to lots of years playing together.

I'd been doing so well...

I felt like I'd been keeping up with my blog pretty well but then vacation happened. Elise was way overdue for her turn on the blog.

This was Elise's "newborn" session. I normally take newborn portraits during the first 2 weeks but this was the earliest I could get Elise in. I've decided that she quite possibly has the most beautiful lips and her hair is to die for. If only Channing had that hair I could put bows galore in it. :)
Big sister Chloe came along with Elise. She played peek-a-boo with me for awhile and we of course attempted sister pictures but it's not always easy to capture a toddler with a newborn.

Patiently waiting

Jackson has been patiently waiting to make his second appearance on my blog. He is my first Baby Club member and this is what we will call his sitting up appointment. I like to capture Baby Clubbers at newborn/baby stage, sitting up but not crawling and standing but not walking. I wouldn't say that Jackson was sitting but not crawling because this little one was moving and grooving pretty good which just means more of a workout for his mama. :)

Anyway, do you see his precious smile? He is looking at Daddy who also came to the session. Daddy can for sure put a smile on his face.

It's my party and the fall schedule

This picture cracks me up. All I keep thinking is it's my party and I'll cry if I want to. Aaron had his own cake matching bib and hat and still wanted nothing to do with it.
What sweet brothers... we won't tell that we bribed AJ with candy to get him to hug his oldest brother.

I love this picture because I told mom and dad to look at each other and these boys mama said, "Should we look at each other like what have we done?" Isn't the pose appropriate?

And one more. At a couple days shy of turning 1, Aaron took the most steps he'd ever taken at my house. Isn't he proud?

Regarding the title, I just have to share. I was seriously wondering if I was going to take any sessions this fall because I didn't have a place to put Channing. Photography is only a part time thing for me, I'm really a stay at home mom to three, so I only wanted Channing to be somewhere 1 day a week at the most. I prayed about it quite a bit and was beginning to think that maybe the Lord was just ready for me to be full time stay at home mom but a door that I thought was closed opened and I have a place for Channing one day a week from 9-2. YEAH! I'm thrilled!

All that to say that I have my calendar up and working on my site now. I am taking limited sessions so if you know you want to have a session during a certain month, call or email ahead of time. I am only taking one weekend session a month because the weekends are our family time and if I work every weekend we don't get to spend any time together. I think the only have October where a weekend is available at this time. Thanks for understanding and sorry about the inconvenience but life with three children is busy but fun.

Visit the blog again soon. Jackson is making a come back.

Cambry's debut

I can't believe I haven't posted about Cambry yet. Cambry came in for newborn pictures about 2 weeks ago and was already up to over 9 pounds. Seems crazy that this newborn had rolls but I just LOVE chubby babies. Somehow they don't feel so breakable. :)

Big brother Colten came with Cambry to take 3 year pictures. I took his 2 year portraits last year and one year later I still didn't get much of a smile out of him. He is such a serious kid but I love it. (At least this time he didn't shake his finger at me and tell me no pictures.) However, Cambry does put a smile on his face and you can tell he is SO in love with her.
