It's been a year already?

I can't believe it's been almost a year since sweet Briggs has been in to see me. I love meeting new people and getting to know new little ones but there is something especially fun about taking 1 year pictures for those who came in for baby pictures. I'm still amazed at how much they change and what little people they become.

This session went a little smoother than Briggs' first session because my kiddos weren't at the house this time. :)
Can you believe his Daddy think he needs a haircut? I love those curls!
He is for sure chewing on his Bible in this picture but isn't he precious? He looks dressed up for Bible class. His mama thought he would stand and hold the Bible because apparently he'd been doing it all morning but wouldn't you know it as soon as he gets a camera pointed at him, no such luck.
I really love this picture because Briggs didn't smile most of the morning during his session but at the last minute Jaime started pulling his pacifier out of his mouth and he thought it was funny. It made that smile even sweeter. If you look closely in his eye you'll see the reflection of his mom. You can say he only has eyes for her. Let's hope it stays that way right Jaime?

Heigh Ho, Heigh Ho,

it's back to work I go. Yes, I am officially off maternity leave as of this Friday. I am booking sessions on a limited basis since my three children are keeping me busy. The laundry for three kids alone is a full time job. (How does Jon and Kate plus 8 do it?)

If you are interested in a session I am full until August so email me or call me soon so I can get you on the schedule. I have been busy working on getting my new website finished so if you were wondering what had happened to it for a while it was in the demolition stages. It is still a work in progress and there will be more changes but go ahead and sneak a peak and you might see your little ones face on there.

By the way, did you notice the new blog design? I love it!!!! Thanks Marina from Penny Lane Designs. She does commercial and personal blog design at really reasonable prices so if you are looking for some new inspiration shoot her an email.
Here are the newest pictures of Channing. She's getting big. How do they grow so fast?

Channing Elizabeth

I know I've been an awful blogger and I have so many pictures I want to share because I've been busy but for now you'll just have to start with my new little one. Channing Elizabeth joined us Wednesday, March 19th weighing in at 6 lbs 5 oz and 19 inches long. She is just a little thing and is fabulously adored by her older brothers. I know we've been home for all of 5 days and I should have more pictures than this but you'll have to start with this. There will be more to come of course and hopefully she'll eventually open her eyes which she hasn't done much of but here they are. Enjoy!

I'll be making some changes in my time off and am looking forward to seeing so many of you, especially some of those little ones in my baby club. For now, I'm planning on being back in June on a limited basis. Make sure and email or give me a call if you want to get on the schedule.

A day of firsts

Saturday was a day of firsts for me. I did my first maternity session and my first engagement session. I'm having the hardest time deciding which ones are my favorite from these sessions. I LOVE taking pictures of babies and children but there sure is something to be said for subjects who stay still and listen to suggestions.

Like I said I'm having a hard time narrowing it down but hey, it's my blog, I guess I can post as many as I want. This is Megan and Michael's engagement session. Don't you just want to draw a heart around their faces in this first picture. So cute! It's been a long time since Stefan and I were that lovey dovey.

Here are few from the maternity session. This is baby #3 for this family. It's good to know that we aren't the only crazy ones out there having 3 children.
This is little Dania. She cracked me up because mostly she did NOT want Mommy's tummy exposed. She kept trying to pull down her shirt

Big brother Lucas was about the same. I think Daddy had to fly him over the belly in order for him to get close enough to get in a picture

Stay tuned - Valentine mini sessions

I am working on a set for Valentine mini sessions at the moment but wanted to give everyone a heads up. (The set will look similar to the one below.) The mini sessions are going to be short 15 minute sessions where we will proof about 10 pictures on the spot for you to choose from. The cost is $20 per child which includes a gift print of your choice (5x7 or smaller). I will also be selling Valentine photo cards. It's a fun way to send a surprise picture to someone.

Storyboards like the ones shown below will be at a discounted price of $60. The date for the mini sessions is January 26th. If you already know you want one of these sessions, send me an email (staciacrafton@gmail.com) and I'll put you down for a time. Right now I'm only going to book between the hours of 10-2 with more sessions added if need be. Hope to hear from you and see all those fun Valentine's outfits.
